Nothing fancy

Well here goes- just a quick update on the lives of the Smiths. We just got home from grandma Sandra and grandpa Davids house we spent 9 days there and I am pretty sure they were ready to see us go. We had a super good time I love visiting and spending time with the fam. We played tons of games had mama mia sing along blowout and ate till we couldn't eat anymore. We had a blast, Whitney took us to this awesome sledding hill and we were there until 1:30 in the morning sledding..My kids are die hards..Kait gave up and sat in the car while the rest of us got even crazier. Laken went on a jump that sent him like 5 ft. in the air landed on his tummy and continued down the hill..When he finally stopped he tells aunt Whitney "now that's the way to go" we all laughed so hard.. Our last run of the night we decided to make a train with Riv at the front then Whit then Lakey and last but not least the old mama( that's me for those of you who didnt catch that) we went down the hill so fast we flew off the curb into the road down the street coming to an abrupt end in the other curb smashing Rivs finger between her sled an the curb.. It was great. While the kids and I were having the time of our lives Mike was home believing he was going to die with something he was diagnosing as meningitis or something close to that.. He thought for sure he would be dead so sure he was making sure his life insurance was in order.. Well its good to let everyone know that he is doing much better. He started himself on some antibiotics that luckily kait had for her skin and they have done a great job of helping him get better.. Thank goodness cause what would we do with out him..We love our Daddy..

On the way back to the church from the cemetary, Don started singing Mama Mia (remember he stayed up till 3:30 watching it the night before)Richard and Lee gave him a strange look, like what the heck are you singing? I just laughed. That was fun we will have to do it again next time you come up!

Yeah Mike was pretty sick no foolin he looked like he was not 100% and when he said he took some of Kaitlyn's meds I was laughing so hard I didn't know you could do that?! What a silly guy!
