Part two and three of what we have been doing...

We went to the Grand Canyon for the first time in my life, thanks to Dan and the green goat for getting us there.. It is amazing. The next day we went to our favorite park by Mels old house. I now realize why it was my favorite and it was because when we went I could see Mel and the girls , this time it just wasnt the same. I really miss those girls.

Im back !!!!!! This is what we have been doing..

Wow it is hard to believe the summer is almost over.... We have been busy busy busy... Whats new in our lives- we have started a new fish store in our home called Salty Fins, we are slowly learning what it takes to be buisness owners...Kaitlyn finished junior high with straight a's... She was on the hurricane swim team (the only 9th grader) she played softball on the hurricane high team and now she is officially a VARSITY hurricane high cheerleader woohoo.. We love her the girl truly rocks.. Rivers turned 10 over the summer WOW she is growing up so fast, she played soccer for the second year- getting better than ever.She learned how to wakeboard last summer and has progressed amazingly this summer, she can cross the wake now and is pretty proud.She will be in 5th grade the last year in grade school that scares the heck out of me.. She is such a good kid and a great big sissy to our little Lakey....Laken will be 6 in oct. he is starting kindergarten and that really really freaks me out what will i do without my little man...He has learned to swim like a fish this summer and is a true fisherman ( without the patience though )he does backflips on the trampoline and is just pure boy through and through ( except for the painted toe nails ).... I love them all and could not be more proud.. We have also been busy with family ( the true happiness in life) we have visited up north and we have had visits... We have had tons of fun with my momma and the girls....

Sneak peak of Halloween

The kids got their Halloween costumes in the mail this week and they are so excited about them ..They had to try them on so I thought while they were on I would take pictures so everyone could have a sneak peak....

The first of many!!!!

This is what happens when you drive your bike off the edge of the drive way ( pictured below from a few different angles) He was trying to turn around on his bike an was apparently to close to the edge and didn't make it , he ended up face down in the sticker bushes in the lot next to us. Poor boy all he kept asking was if he had a black eye... We made a mad dash to walmart and collected some band aids and a few band aids later he was back on the bike...

Rivy is in the big fourth grade now, I can hardly believe that she is all ready so grown up...

Last days of summer (a little late)

The kids in their little space. I don't know what it is about the court yard but it is where they spend a lot of their time.

Mike did sparklers with the kids. They love anything that lights on fire.
Last day of summer pool party. One pool was not enough they had to set them all up so it was like a water park they said.
